The court plays Samuel’s recording of a furious argument with Sandra. It captures accusations, shouting, breaking objects, and a physical struggle, but not the wider relationship or even an unambiguous account of who caused every sound; Sandra insists that one extreme trace cannot stand for an entire marriage.

A genuine internal trace can still underdetermine the policy, motive, and context that produced it, so oversight must distinguish evidence from a complete explanation.

The recording is highly relevant evidence; the analogy warns against overclaiming from logs, not against using them.
