The Continuous-Throughput Crematorium

Civilian engineers present Höss with plans for a more efficient crematorium whose chambers cycle continuously: one burns while another cools, is unloaded, and is reloaded.

Technical optimization, euphemistic language, specialized contractors, and institutional procurement combine to scale intentional mass murder. Each participant handles a tractable subsystem while the integrated infrastructure magnifies the perpetrators’ capacity.

The objective is knowingly genocidal. This is an analogy for scalable malicious capability and distributed institutional complicity—not an automated system accidentally optimizing the wrong target.
